Our story
A practice built on connection
Why we started
Inner Collective was founded on a simple belief — that everyone deserves access to compassionate, personalized mental healthcare in a space that feels safe and welcoming.
"Healing happens when people feel truly heard."
Inner Collective was born out of a shared passion for helping people understand themselves more deeply. We believe that healing happens when people feel truly heard — not rushed, not judged, and not reduced to a diagnosis.
Our practice brings together therapists who are not only highly trained but genuinely invested in the people they work with. Every session is tailored to the individual, drawing from evidence-based approaches while honouring the unique story each person brings through the door.
We serve individuals, couples, teens, and groups across the Greater Sudbury area — offering a warm, grounded space where real change becomes possible.
What guides us
Our values
Warmth
We lead with empathy. Every person who walks through our door is met with genuine care and respect, no matter where they are in their journey.
Integrity
We are honest, transparent, and consistent. You can trust that what we say and what we do will always align.
Personalization
There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy. We tailor every approach to the individual — their goals, their pace, their needs.
Growth
We believe in the capacity of every person to grow, heal, and build a life that feels meaningful — and we are honoured to walk alongside that process.
Humility
We don't have all the answers — and we don't pretend to. We show up with openness, a willingness to learn, and deep respect for the expertise each person holds about their own life.
Humour
Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. We believe laughter and lightness have a place in therapy — and that a genuine moment of joy can be just as therapeutic as a breakthrough.
How we work
Therapy that centres you
Our therapists draw from a range of evidence-based modalities — including Somatic Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness — adapting their approach to what works best for each individual. We are trauma-informed in everything we do, and we believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for healing.
